Hello girls! This is
ReplyDeleteSavana, first assistant from Sandy. Because I missed this confrence call I wanted to take the time to come on here and answer these questions so that maybe my point of view on these questions will help someone else see things from a different set of eyes.
1. What I think makes a great leader is someone who is confident in themselfs, isn't afraid to speak the truth and lastly someone who isnt afraid to go through the rough spots to get to the smooth parts.
2.Most dedinetly a great laeder needs to be movated and be motivating. if you have no light at the end of the tunnel how can you expect someone to want to work till the end. And to stay motivated a leader needs to remember there is always a new lasson to be learned from any situation; Even if the lesson is a difficult one to swallow you're bound to grow in one way or another.
3. One major obstial that may prevent us from being a great laeder is falling into a rut because its comfortable for us. Again you have to be willing to get your hands "dirty" to have a great outcome.
4.one way i see leadership influenced in may store is consistancy. if everyone fallows the same rules all the time it empowers all of the team to holding others accountable, which in turns helps them to become great leaders.
5. going back to questions number four, consistancy through out your store can be very empowering. just think about if you had one manager that always bends the rules, no one will question the intentions because its become the "norm" but if everyone is one the same page then when an issue does arrise your preer is more likly to ask "why? whats the reason?". another way to encourage them is to seek feedback and follow up with anthing thats been brought to your attention. if your associate feels that their thoughts and feeling are meaningful to you they are more likly to feel confident in themselfs and lead others.
